The Chesham Stakes is one of the exciting races at the Royal Ascot Meeting and we have seen some nice winners of the race over the past few years. In 2010 we saw Zaidan claim the win with Seb Sanders on board and he finished ahead of Sonning Rose who was tthe mount of Alan Munro.

2009 Chesham Stakes Result

Big Audio was the surprise winner of the Chesham Stakes giving trainer Richard Hannon his third winner of the meeting and jockey, Richard Hughes his fourth. He took up the running a furlong and ahalf from the line but ran very green when in front. However he hung on gamely to win by a short head from the very fats finsjing Emperor Claudius. Party Doctor was third.
