2009 Norfolk Stakes Result

Despite coming from the back of the field and suffering serioud hampering a furlong out, Radiohead emerged as a thoroughly deserved winner of this race. Brilliantly ridden by Jamie Spencer who piked him up after he was barged accidentally by the favourite Monsieur Chevalier, the two year old showed true speed at the end and he could turn out to be avery useful juvenile. Second was 50/1 shot Reignier with Tawaabb in third.

Norfolk Stakes 2008 Result

Jockey Robert Winston and trainer Howard Johnson combine for their second win in the race in four years when South Central holds on to take the Norfolk Stakes.

Norfolk Stakes 2007 Result

Déjà vu as the 2007 Royal Ascot is becoming a one man show and the horses are becoming secondary as Jimmy Fortune once again came out on top on the well backed favourite Winker Watson at 2/1 in the Ascot Odds. While it looked in normal time that he may have caused some interference this was not the case on the head on and was a very good winner of the Norfolk Stakes.

Norfolk Stakes 2006 Result

Peter Chapple-Hyam was taking this race for the second time and highlighted the big impression he was making back in UK racing following his four years spent in Hong Kong. This was an excellent success for such a young horse with little or no experience.

Masta Plasta confirmed that he is a real sprinter of ability with a clear cut success after getting away well he went into the lead after a furlong and a half and lengthened well to take this race with ease from the reliable yardstick in runner up Strike up the Band.
