There as always are some class winners at the 2005 Royal Ascot meeting which was run at York racecourse due to the redevelopment of the Ascot Racecourse and the Royal Ascot 2005 results have a few standouts from the key races including Shamardal in the St James Palace Stakes winner of the French Derby and then there was Westender who took the Ascot Gold Cup Betting and was later to run such a big race in the Arc de Triomphe.
